25.02.2006 - Live: Scotland 3-3 England

23 mins: Another Scotland rolling maul inches towards the England line and the Murrayfield crowd find their voice. The maul ends but Danny Grewcock is sin-binned for charging into the back fellow lock Alastair Kellock.
20 mins: Finally Scotland put some pressure on their visitors. A rolling maul makes some hard yards and a high kick into the swirling wind deceives Lewsey, who drops the ball on his own 22.
18 mins: The rain is starting to fall heavily in Edinburgh but it has had no effect on the game as yet. Another England attack is halted when centre Jamie Noon is penalised for joining a ruck from the side.
15 mins: Flanker Joe Worsley makes ground for England but play is brought back after prop Julian White is penalised for unnecessary use of the boot on a prone Scott MacLeod.
11 mins: Lewsey and Hodgson interchange passes at pace on the right wing as England again threaten. Hodgson kicks forward into in-goal but the referee seems to ignore an apparent block on the Sale fly-half after the ball has gone.
8 mins: PENALTY Scotland 3-3 England
From the line-out, England pile forward and are agonisingly close to the line. Scotland come in at the side and Hodgson gratefully accepts the three points.
5 mins: England enjoy plenty of phases but do not make much progress as Scotland's defence holds out. They eventually get the penalty however, and Charlie Hodgson kicks to the corner.
2 mins: PENALTY Scotland 3-0 England
The Scots make a electric start, running the ball at England at the first opportunity. England are penalised for offside and Chris Paterson slots over the penalty.
1 min: Scotland get the game under way and England immediately make their intentions clear as they attack from deep.
1729: The teams sing their national anthems and now the stage is set for the latest instalment of the Calcutta Cup.
1726: Scotland make England wait on the field before Jason White leads the team out.
1724: Martin Corry leads his England team out onto the Murrayfield pitch to be met with the Braveheart extras from earlier bearing torches.
1721: The stadium is now full, the floodlights are on and everyone is now waiting for the team to enter the arena.
1717: The pitch looks more like a scene from Braveheart as the pre-match entertainment gets into full swing.
1711 GMT: The two sides are on the field going through their final pre-match warm-ups. The sky is clear and there is no rain, which should please the 20,000-strong English contingent expected in Edinburgh.

Scotland take on England aiming to claim their first win over the 'Auld Enemy' since the famous victory in 2000.
New coach Frank Hadden has instilled a real sense expectation in the Scotland camp and so far in the Six Nations they have beaten France and run Wales close despite being down to 14 men.
However England go into the game as favourites and have already claimed wins over Wales and Italy this year.
There are only two changes to the line-up, with Josh Lewsey returning at full-back instead of Tom Voyce while Julian White comes in at prop for the injured Matt Stevens.

Scotland: Southwell; Paterson, Di Rollo, Henderson, Lamont; Parks, Blair; Kerr, Hall, Douglas; MacLeod, Kellock; White (capt), Taylor, Hogg.
Replacements: Ford, Smith, Hines, Petrie, Cusiter, Ross, Webster

England: Lewsey; Cueto, Noon, Tindall, Cohen; Hodgson, Ellis; Sheridan, Thompson, White; Borthwick, Grewcock; Worsley, Moody, Corry (capt).
Replacements: Chuter, Freshwater, Shaw, Dallaglio, Dawson, Goode, Voyce.

Referee: Alan Lewis (Ireland)
