Six police officers have been injured during rioting involving up to 100 people in Portadown town centre.
One officer is reported to have sustained serious facial injuries during the disturbance.
Two police vehicles were damaged and it is understood a number of other vehicles were damaged as well.
The trouble broke out in the early hours of Sunday at about 0100 GMT when bricks, bottles and other missiles were thrown.
At one stage, a group of men attacked a woman police officer and forced her to the ground before kicking and punching her.
Two men were arrested and one, a 30-year-old, was charged with assault and disorderly behaviour.
He is due to appear before Craigavon Magistrates Court next month.
Meanwhile, a 34-year-old man has been released on bail pending further police inquiries.
