A man has been arrested by police investigating the robbery of a bank at Carlisle Circus on Friday.
The arrest followed a number of searches in the north Belfast area of the city on Sunday.
A police spokesperson said a number of other items were also seized for examination.
A bank employee was forced to take the money from the Ulster Bank's Carlisle Circus branch while his partner and one-year-old child were held hostage.
A substantial six-figure sum of money, believed to be about Ј200,000, was stolen.
Three men confronted the family in their home on Friday.
The bank worker's family were held captive while he was forced to follow the robbers' instructions.
