Search teams hunting for a schoolboy missing from his home in Greater Manchester have found a body.
Police and mountain rescue teams spent Wednesday night hunting for 11-year-old Joe Geeling after he failed to return home from school in Bury.
A body was found in Whitehead Park, in Ainsworth, Bury, on Thursday. The death is being treated as suspicious.
Detectives say Joe's parents have been informed about the development, but the body has not yet been identified.
Freezing temperature
Joe, who suffers from cystic fibrosis, left St Gabriel's High School in the afternoon and was last seen by fellow pupils on Manchester Road at 1600 GMT.
Police said Joe usually walked home from school with a friend. However his friend did not attend school on Wednesday and it is thought he may have walked home by himself.
The school is just a 15-minute walk from the youngster's home on Devon Street but he did not return home.
Temperatures fell to -5C in the area overnight as up to 30 members of Bolton Mountain Rescue team mounted a huge search operation.
Search parties - including police, Joe's family and neighbours - checked woodland areas around St Gabriel's school on Wednesday night and resumed the search on Thursday.
